Local Agenda 21 Continues Moving Forward.

Last Wednesday 1 February, the local government team from Jávea town hall met with technical experts responsible for the local Agenda 21 to set the guidelines for the period of work about to start and to seek maximum involvement at an internal level. Besides explaining the different periods and activities planned, the importance was stressed of the co-operation on the part of everyone in all areas of local administration.

In this respect, they are currently working on the formation of the Commission 21, to be formed by municipal technicians, politicians and representatives of the Forum, whose objective will be the co-ordination of the Agenda 21 process in Jávea.

With regard to the timetable, invitations have already been issued to local citizens for the next meeting which will take place on Friday 3 March at 8 pm in the Casa de la Cultura.
